MARSTROPOLIS CoverThe cover of my second CD, MARSTROPOLIS. I was going for something diffferent, to reflect the mood of the music. I created a futuristic society through music, a society different than present day, but not so far removed from the common experience. The cover has reminded many of my fans of the former Soviet Union's flag. In a way, that's all good and okay. This fictional society isn't communist anymore than the people who live in that part of the world are any less human than the rest of us.

ROB ASTOR 2003 Self PicI drew this picture of myself in the Autumn of 2003 after a wonderful summer vaction and after reflecting on my past. I used to look like that and it seemed fitting to capture me this way at that time. In the few years since then, I've come to look more and more like my former self.
